The Sun moved into Taurus on Monday evening, along with Mercury, and joined Venus, Uranus and Lilith. All this Taurus energy is welcomed….However we have some work to do.
Uranus entered Taurus in the spring of 2018. This planet is sure to bring revolutionary change wherever it is along with generational healing, and advancements in humanity. It moves slowly, therefore we must be patient, pragmatic and willing to change.
Uranus in Taurus has the potential to:
- help the planet heal and rejuvenate
- encourage safety and security
- help us understand our worth and equality
- empower feminine energy
- encourage sexual embodiment
- initiate healing of the deep sexual wound humanity carries
Uranus is in 10 degrees Taurus now, so the initiation period in this sign is now completed and we can now start taking action to begin our transformational journey. There needs to be a re-balance of the feminine and masculine energies. We rise by leaning into our power which begins with knowing who we are and want we want. This begins in our root or root chakra, where sexual energy is created. And I believe this is where we are deeply wounded.
For balance of the divine feminine and masculine to happen, women need to revolutionize their creative power, which is activated in the womb. Uranus (creates revolution to progressive movement) in Taurus is unraveling the systems which have kept the feminine down. The cosmic-call-to action is to bring back the practices that once made us powerful spiritual beings and heal the sexual wound.
In my practice, 1 in 4 women have sexual trauma. Sometimes it is higher. It’s from this lifetime, and in our soul memory as this has been happening for generations. Buried in our subconscious and creating repetitive patterns that affect our worth.
This is a problem of power. We live in a society that has abused power. The feminine energy has been oppressed and Divine Feminine practices have been lost.
So why so much talk about Uranus? Because this is where Uranus (with Lilith’s help right now) can help us. It can help us create the change needed to stop this for the generations to come.
The Sun illuminates the Zodiac sign it is in. So this wound is being illuminated and it is time to do the work as a collective to change this. IT IS THE TIME!
In order to help the collective, we need to begin with ourselves. How?….
First: Create awareness in your life where you feel suppressed feelings or emotions of shame, fear, guilt, or wounding around your sexuality.
Second: Acknowledge past experiences and your emotions around this. What are they? Where do they hide in your body/mind?
Third: Take your power back by understanding how to connect to pleasure and your body. Create a practice to understand your sexual energy and where in the cosmic womb it is wounded.
Your sexual energy is your life-force, your power. It is how you connect to your soul and the consciousness of your higher self and the divine. It doesn’t have to be about the act of sex, rather the embodiment of who you are, your purpose and what you want.
We have been taught to hide our emotions, which hold the very basis of our truth. Emotions are an external reaction of what is happening internally. When we hold our emotions in our body, we create stagnation of our sexual energy and therefore block co-creation.
I definitely do not have all the answers to how we heal this massive wound as it extends so deeply across the world, but I do know it has to start with awareness and creating the space and practice to honour our life-force and the consciousness of the divine. Taurus has a strong connection to the divine feminine and sexuality, and with so many planets including Uranus currently in this sign, we have the energy now to create a revolution to allow the feminine energy to be expressed, not oppressed.
